I don't know anyone who have enrolled their kids in those schools but speaking from a general perspective, I reckon the Odyssey schools have high fees because firstly, they are an IB-certified pre-school, which is pretty rare. Also, from a practical point of view, these schools are located in the "prestigious" areas in SIngapore, if I'm not wrong. Rent or price of land at places like WIlkinson Road and Fourth Avenue do not come cheap, I'd imagine.
