Newborn cough & hiccup

Is it normal for newborn(neonatal) to cough randomly ? No fever no phlegm not when feeding etc And also hiccups frequently

Yes sometimes they choke on their own saliva. It’s quite normal for my baby. And hiccups randomly when he wakes up.
