Newborn Hiccups

My newborn hiccups when he sleep. Do I wake him up to burp him or let him continue sleep?

My nanny suggest to just let baby drink abit of milk, so to stop the hiccups. A few sips will do the job.

I continue to let him sleep. As long as he is not crying or what, I just let him be.
