My child is 8 months old and still doesn't have his first tooth. Is something wrong?

No Mommy .my lo was 10months old when his first tooth came. Pedia said it was okay and we should wait until lo turns 1 yr old. If 1 yr old but still no tooth, thats the time we worry and have his dentals checked :)
