My baby was born with a tooth. Does it need to be pulled out?

Usually, no intervention is required UNLESS it is causing difficulty to the mother or infant. There is a possibility the permanent tooth buds may be extracted together with the natal tooth. It is also unsafe to extract natal teeth for infants with Hypoprothrombinemia. In case of complications where a natal tooth has to be removed, pediatric dentists should be consulted and a dental radiograph should be had as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neonatal_teeth
