Fever and/or rashes are possible reactions to some vaccinations. For example, after having the MMR vaccine, your child may develop a fever about one week after being vaccinated. And for chicken pox vaccine, your child may develop fever and rashes 1 to 2 weeks later. Usually, the nurse will provide approved fever medication and post vaccination advice on managing the common reactions to the vaccination. If you baby’s fever persist after 24 hours or if he/she is persistently crying, have fits or have inflammation at the injection site, better bring your baby to the doctor for further checks.

My son usually has a slight temperature the day after his vaccine but it usually goes away on its own. The nurse will usually ask you to monitor the child's fever for the next 2 or 3 days as most babies have a reaction to vaccinations. Usually at the polyclinic, you'd be given medicine in case your child develops a fever. I personally just use a fever patch as I rather not get my son use to taking medicine just for a slight fever. However, if your child is runnng a high fever please bring your child to the doctor.

It's natural for any parents to get worried if their child is not feeling well but it's normal for some babies. In-fact it's good sign for your child. It means immune system of your baby is responding against the vaccination which is given to them. So, need not to worry if baby is down with mild fever.

Its normal for the baby to have fever after they got vaccinated, that's why the doctor tell the parent to prepare medicine after the vaccination. Let me tell this, your baby will have fever when she/he got his first teeth.

Its normal to have fever after vaccinations. But if it persist for more than 18-20 hours just get her to the doctor once. If its a very high fever then immediately you should consult a doctor

They should have let you read information about vaccines that they give & what mo. Usually they get a fever due to the reaction from each baby just depends but goes away!! Good luck

Vaccines always give fever just give your baby paracetamol and remove the nappy or diaper to enable your to have enough air your baby will be fine

It's quite normal. This will go on about a day or 2. Just monitor the temp so that it's not too high.
