My 8 days old cherub's cheeks are very rough. At first I thought it was a heat rash, but now wondering if it is baby acne. It looks like small bumps that are sometimes red and irritated looking, and other times it looks very clear, but the roughness is still there.

It could be a milk rash too. Baby Acne or Milk rash both are very common with babies and they go away when they gets older. I've tried these methods which healed my son's rough patchy cheeks. After every milk feed, wipe his cheeks with some cool boiled water. Apply a thin layer of cream to protect the cheeks. Get those with oatmeal.It helps with the healing. Hope it works for your child
