Any mummy use ikan bilis to cook porridge. May i know how you prepare abd type. If possible can show me the picture. So confused

You can buy ikan bilis then soak and stir-fry to dry them. No oil and seasoning. Blend the fishes into powder. You can keep them in fridge. Add them when cooking the porridge with vegetable like broccoli and carrot

Just soak a min or 2 will do so that not so salty. Do not soak too long if not no taste.

I usual buy from the sinseh and ask them to recommend. I'll usually boil the Ikan Billies with onion and Porridge that's all.

for stock boiling i would choose without guts. but head intact as it's full of calcium.

those supermarkets or you go to wet market stalls that sell dry goods. for convienence, you can put the ikan bills into stock bags(found in daiso) so u stuff the ikan bills inside, once stock ready just remove the entire bag
