Pregnancy

27 weeks & with GD

Hello mummies..I was diagnosed with GD when I was 25 weeks & after the 2nd follow up doc still decided to put me meds & insulin with increase dosage even my records stated already sustainable BS level..does anyone experience that before? Does it stay that way till delivery or eventually the doc will put off the meds & insulin? Is there any other alternatives to maintain BS level ? Will it affect the baby growth #pregnancy #advicepls ##f1sTymMom #eatinglesseversince #controlcravingduetoworryBSlevelspikeup #noweightgain

Time flies! Baobei growing too fast for mama’s comfort

You should only need to take the meds and insulin until delivery. Post delivery have to do the GD test again to see if you have diabetes instead. You can seek 2nd opinion if don’t agree with your current doc.
