Using Hydrocolloid Acne Patch For Bcg Site

Hi mummies, wondering if anyone had done this in hopes to reduce scarring to the injection site? Using 3M hydrocolloid acne patch to absorb the pus, seems to be less inflamed

i should clean it with water & let it air dry, don’t squeeze or remove pus or apply anything, if too much pus can use gauze to absorb

I never would have touched it...back in the day, we were even proud to compare our BCG scars...actually, even now.

Just don't go touch it. My child same as yours. Doc say is normal juat don't go touch it. But doc give some med.

Doctor will recommend to just leave it alone. It will heal naturally. My baby is 4 mo and the pus is all gone.

My understanding is clean out the pus. Use warm water to wipe. N then dry it. Air dry it. Try not to cover it.

nope, just let it air dry. wipe the area with wet wipes if there's pus coming out from the bcg site.
