For the first five months my baby did three to four poops a day until there were very bad sores. It looked so bad and she cried all the way. But she fully breastfeeding so very watery yellow poop was normal (what peads said) We absolutely gave up wiping and went straight to washing with water even when outside of the home Then pat dry with facial tissue. We started using the blue desitin because pasty and protects a bit better with the thick layer. Then when things died down and no open wound we used drapolene as a preventative measure. Never had a butt sore for more than a year now yay. And now its food poop so man thats worse.
Hi there! It's totally normal for babies to poop more than 5 times a day, especially if they are exclusively breastfed. As for the rash cream, I highly recommend trying the lotion product from this link https://invl.io/cll7h5b, it has worked wonders for my little ones. Make sure to keep the diaper area clean and dry, and apply the cream at every diaper change. If the redness persists or if you notice any other concerning symptoms, it's always a good idea to bring your baby to see the doctor, just to be on the safe side. Hope this helps! Consider changing to lactose free milk. And try this Cavilon cream recommended by NUH PD. Works wonder! https://s.shopee.sg/2q98Oj10Vw
I use drapolene for normal days and if it's red, u can try desitin. Get the purple one, blue is very strong
