Forcep marks/ bruises

Hi mummies, my newborn was delivered using forceps and had huge forcep marks which i believe was normal and true enough next day most of the marks were gone. However, he still has 2 marks caused by the forceps on his face at week 3. Any mummies have such experiences and able to advise whether how long it takes for the marks to fade completely?

Hey mummy, my son was delivered via forceps as well and it took sometime to go away, especially the hematoma and the bruise around his eyes. But he’s now two months and all is well! However if you’re worried and would like assurance, you can approach a PD 😊

Thanks for the advice! I should wait till 2 months and see how.

I did not have such experience. It is better to take advice from doctor. since baby is too small.
