First Appt at 16 weeks

Hello Mummies and Mummies to be, I could only secure my first gynae appointment at 16 weeks with my chosen gynae (she's popular hence the waiting time). This is not my first pregnancy but definitely the longest I will have to wait for the first appt. I am unsure if I should go for an initial scan and where to go about since I already selected a gynae? #advicepls

Yes you can go to other gynaes first while waiting for this appt! They’ll help you with the scan and provide you with folic acid and other supplements you need. For first tri, the checks are once every 2-3 weeks so you shouldn’t be missing out on that.
