Baby food tasting

Hi mummies, my LO just reach 4 mo. Since 3m+, my mil have been letting my baby taste wadever she is eating, like let my baby lick the food. Recently, she let my baby lick one of the ingredients in cai fan which is sausage coated in sauce. Will you be ok with that if u are in my shoes? Just nice hubby is not around and I just close one eye. Should I tell hubby about it or this is normal? I wasn't very happy but just pretended and close one eye when it happened.
