Gagging in 1st trimester

Hi! Any mummies here in 1st trimester gags instead of feeling naseous or vomitting? I get this gagging reflex once in a while but no naseous feeling and no vomit. I'm 5w3d today.

It’s normal! I had bad gag reflex for both my pregnancies. I am 12w 3d now and my gag reflex hasn’t gone away. Both pregnancies started MS at 5 weeks plus. I always have a small bottle of ointment (Siang Pure oil works for me) with me wherever I go. I can’t smell cooking, smell of soup (pity my 15 month old toddler who usually takes soup for her meals), smell of rice, I can’t smell a place selling food either, it makes me gag so much. It will worsen if you don’t eat or skip meals. But usually it gets better in 2nd trimester onwards though so just hang in there. 🥰

Oh ya.. Now that you mentioned it gets worse if I skip meals or eat late and I cant smell fried food.. Will take in mind about bringing ointment, thank you! 🥰

I gagged for 1 week during w5. Started vomiting at w6 lol 😒 If you don't feel nauseous, congrats! You may be one of those lucky ones. Vomiting really sucks :/
