I had the same issue in my third trimester (bad shoulder and back pain). Massage helped a little, but I later found out some of the pain was from posture and joint stress. I ended up consulting Dr Sean Ng from Cove Orthopaedic Clinic, and he gave me very safe advice on managing it during pregnancy. Might be worth checking with a specialist if the aches get too much.
