Must be very stressful for you to work under such environment. Take care. There is actually no stopping of you discussing your current stress and mental health and pregnancy concern with your gynae, see if the gynae can support your application of unpaid leaves by providing you a eg. medical memo stating gynae’s recommendation for extended period of rest. You can consider to present the medical memo while discussing your unpaid leave application with your company but it is still subject to their approval.

I think you can try talking to your gynae about your mental health and concern, and see how they can support you with your current situation and the unpaid leave and also then try talking to your boss. Jia you! Stay strong!

I think if you want to take unpaid leave for a period of time, you need to talk to your management and both must be agreeable with what’s being discussed. However, this may affect your work performance appraisal.
