I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant working in a government healthcare settings. Because of this pregnancy, I tend to walk or do things slower…as I get breathless and giddy easily…im anaemic btw… There a few colleagues of mine especially one male colleagues. He keep making fun of the way I walk and he even mimicked the way I walk right infront of me… Honestly I got offended. But it seems like I can’t do anything… #firstbaby #firsttimemom #advicepleace

It's okay to take it slow :) Just do things at your own pace or one where you are most comfortable. And especially when you are getting up from a sitted position noting that you are anaemic. Staying hydrated with water or some electrolyte drinks may help but best to consult your gynae if it's okay for your consumption :) Sorry to hear of your colleague's behaviour, it's not something which you can have control over, but you can express or stand up to him on how his actions is shameful; to make fun of a woman in labour. How would he feel if his own wife experiences such a thing at work. Sometimes it's better to voice it up and stop the mockery once and for all. However, if you're unable to, perhaps highlighting it up to your management or seeking out fellow colleagues who are mums themselves may offer some relief thru sharing/a listening ear. Stay strong💪🏻

No Fetal Pole or Yolk Sac at 6 weeks :(

#advicepleace Hi everyone, Im abit concerned… have had a history of 1 miscarriage last year and we tried again and I tested positive few weeks back. LMP 16 Feb, so we went to poly to get referral. Poly referred us to KKH early , on 28th March , at my 6 weeks point. From there it was back and forth 28th March - couldn’t find gestational sac at all, HCG 7200 30th March - couldn’t find gestational sac, even did format ultrasound same results - HCG 8600 (only 17% rise) 1 April - could find gestational sac but no yolk or fetal pole. Docs didn’t even want to confirm that it’s a a gestational sac. HCG 12600 (46% rise) Don’t know what to think… my HCG doesn’t seem to be rising properly. ectopic ruled out. I’ve got cramps but no bleeding. Just so confused. Any one has experienced something similar to this? Worried sick :(

Hi, when is the next follow-up in kkh? For me is I go private gynae, going thru all the tests and gynae worry ectopic or a miscarriage going on cos my HCG didn't doubled up in 48 hrs. Went KKH a&e (very long story) and preliminary review is Gestational sac but no yolk (I totally feel u). Was having higher BP and asked to observe. 30 mins later, nurse came n said doc has latest update. Confirmed a pregnancy sac in uterus by a senior gynae. I hope is too early and shape not able to capture for ur case. Take good care and hope to hear good news from u soon.
