Hospital Delivery Practice

Hi mummies i just wanna ask and gather info. My 1st born was delivered at KKH. I was under private and a choosen doctor of my choice. What im curious is about other hospitals practice. Do you mummies get checked for dilation by different random doctors before the choosen gynae come only for delivery of the baby?
