First Appmnt

Hello mummies. Do I really need to see doctor at 6 weeks pregnant? Can I go at 8th week instead because i want to skip vaginal ultrasound/scan (sorry I do not know what it's called) I just want to go straight to tummy ultrasound as I am actually very scared with that method. Really scared.

I went for my first appt at 5w 4d and they did an abdominal scan on me instead of transvaginal. I could see the flickering heart as well but it was still so tiny. But definitely yes, no problem, you can surely go after 8 weeks, higher chances of seeing the heartbeat and the fetus would have more likely to have grown more than a little “circle”.

I must be very stupid and silly to be very scared. I had a miscarriage, and had to check transvaginal and i actually cried. So they used the smallest to check. But i really want to have children.
