Low pain tolerance

Hey mummies! I have something weird/funny/may be stupid question to ask.. I actually have very low tolerance with needles. I hate injections. Esp drips! I know every mum in labour will be poke with the drip. I had that before and I cried till my mask got dirty and wet with my tears! Can’t handle that pain.. so is it a must to be poke on my hand?😭😭 please help

Yup! The IV fluid is needed to keep you hydrated. I am very afraid of needles and blood. Request for a thin needle. I got injected twice (one on each hand) cause the first one didn’t enter my vein, causing it to bleed. Just look away when the nurse is doing it and squeeze your spouse’s hand.
