Thawed breast milk

Mummies i have a qns! After thawing my breast milk, can I transfer them to bottles in portions according to how much my baby drinks? This way, when it's time for feeding, I can just grab a bottle from the fridge and rewarm it. Any mummies use this method? Will the milk spoil?

As long as it’s not thawed to room temp, you can distribute them according to your baby’s intake and finish within 24 hours. Alternatively, prepack baby’s intake before freezing, that way also less risk of contamination.

Based on previous feedings, roughly use 2-3 feedings to gauge the amount baby needs then use that as a guide. If baby cries for more milk then gradually increase from there. Else you can thaw a certain amount enough for a few feeds first, then if you need more just let it run under running water to thaw fast :)
