PPROM - Amniotic fluid leak

Hi mummies, I am at 22 weeks now and experienced amniotic fluid leak a week ago. Last check of my AFI was still high at 9.3cm and the leaks seems to stop for a few days already. I am currently admitted to KKH. What is the chances of me getting discharged? Am worry that I have to be admitted until I deliver my baby :( #1stpregnacy

I think they might potentially keep you till 24 weeks, but even if you go home, you’ll need very strict bed rest, as you’re at high risk for preterm labour, infections, etc. i think it’s best to discuss with your doctors about the plans for you. It’d be clearer than what we can offer on this platform. Take care, dear ❤️

Hi, I’m currently facing the same issue. Can anyone below share with us what’s the outcome pls? My doc didn’t advise me to go hospital except on bed rest at home. My fam doesn’t want me to go hospital at the meantime I really feel hopeless and bed rest at home. Does going hospital helps??

Hi Mommy! How do u first discover the leak? I had this damp undies, with clear no smell watery discharge! I’m gg KK soon, how donthe test like? And are u still in hospital now?
