There's no "correct" place as there are multiple veins and the nurse cannot poke same spot/vein repeatedly. Nurse every day also draw blood, so are well trained and professional in it. If can draw blood, then the results will be accurate. No need to redo the test unless u vomit.
I got mine there too. For both pregnancy. Cos they can’t poke at the same area multiple times. And will eventually run out of veins. Understand that it’s more painful on that part but I just bear with it 😅

Took there likely because they can't draw blood from the same spot, it is accurate since it is still your blood. Doesn't make a difference where they draw from as long as direct from vein
If you pass your test alr then no need to put yourself through the pain of being poked again
