Braxton hicks or true labour

Hi mummies! Am 38 weeks pregnant and just got a sweep yesterday. Cramping took effect immediately after the sweep and lasted for the whole night. however it was bearable. Interval was rather close yesterday and pain remained constant (a little more painful) than braxton hicks tbh but got better today. Is this normal? Still confuse if it’s true or false labour.
