Buckle carriers that don't require infant inserts at 2 months old: - Kokadi Flip (try on at Mums & Babes, United Square) - Emeibaby (sold by Baby Slings and Carriers) - Lillebaby (try on at Takashimaya baby section) - Ergo Adapt - Kinderpack Koolnit in infant size Carriers with inbuilt infant insert: - Manduca - Boba 4G Otherwise, consider getting a ring sling or a woven wrap for now till baby is past 4 months then you'll have much more choices of carriers without bothering about infant inserts :) But if baby is small size, might take awhile to fit in wider carriers without insert. Eg Tula, some babies may not fit in it till 8 months old. Do join Babywearing Singapore Facebook group if you haven't already :) https://www.facebook.com/groups/babywearingsg/

It will be better to continue using the infant insert as baby at 3 months old will not have strong neck control to hold their heads up and they may sink into the carrier as they are not tall enough, it can risk Sudden Infant Death. Also, baby legs may not be long enough to sit knee to knee nicely. Hyperextended legs can lead to injuries. Left is hyperextended legs, right is correct knee to knee.

If you are talking about not using the infant insert, my boy who is 50 percentile in height is only able to fit without it at 6 months old.

i dont think at this stage that carrier is not suitable to use.. cause their bones is not yet ready to carry by themselves..

For Tula, the guideline is to use infant insert before baby reach 7kg
