My baby accidentally ate cotton 😭😭

My mother insisted of putting underpad on my baby's bed. I woke up seeing him holding it on his mouth. I suspected that he ate some cotton from it. It was confirmed when he vomited my milk with one small chunk of it. I don't know what to do. I know cotton is indigestible.
