i know the "feels" while waiting for your scheduled op. Yung anxiety level, kaba at excitement, ay bongga! Since I'm working at a hospital, i have background on the procedure and that made me prepared mentally. Mejo masakit lang ung paglalagay ng anesthesia sa may spine kasi parang naka2 na tusok si doc, siguro dahil sa scoliosis ko, im not sure... But nonetheless, the operation is great, it started at 11:15 and nag baby out ng 11:28. Bakit ko alam? Kasi gising ako. Hahaha you cannot feel the pain of the scalpel thru ur skin but i felt the pressure/weight nung mga instrument and kamay ng mga operating staff (or maybe my mind's playing with me bec i can see them while i was being operated on). Fast forward, after my catheter was removed, i tried sitting standing and walking to the cr agad ng slowly and tried to pee. Masakit umihi, sobra. Akala ko bubukas tahi ko 😅 the next day i went down to the first floor thru the stairs from my room at the second floor. It's just the mindset, i guess. You just have to be brave. Pray lang mamsh. If you're too afraid, think of the little lovely being inside your womb, surely you'll be fired up. God bless on your upcoming op!
