Gender Reveal - Surprise or Not?

For moms who had a gender reveal party, did you know your baby’s sex beforehand or were you also surprised during the reveal? What are the pros and cons of knowing (or not knowing) beforehand? I kinda want to be surprised but I also don’t want any gender disappointment to show in case the reveal is different from what I’d hoped…

i am also planning not to know until my gender reveal party! but not sure how to tell gynae? since the one doing the ultrasound will be different everytime. and will they entertsin such request :D

which is more important to you? my #1 i knew beforehand, now my #2 i want a surprise before the party
