Why is gynae avoiding birthing questions?
Hi moms! I just entered trimester 2 and I’ve been to my gynae for about 3 check ups. Is it normal that gynae always ask you to “don’t think about the delivery now, it’s too early?” Is it really too early to have such questions answered?
I think different gynae different style? For mine, he is always asking me what birth method I intend to go for. Initially wanted csect so he told me to think about it (I told him at around week 8 lol!) then after reading online, decided to go for natural birth at week 28 provided if baby’s position allows (which thankfully baby did turn down). But he probably kept asking me because he prefers me to go for natural birth than csect, probably trying to change my mind hahaha. Perhaps your gynae don’t want you to feel stress.
Read moreI had about 4 appointments with my gynae, and he hasn’t ask about this yet. So probably it’s still early ? Diff gynae may have diff style.
