PUPPP please go away!!

Hi mommies! Just wondering if anyone had PUPPP before? First time pregnant I'm on my 36 weeks coming to 37 soon.. I couldn't stand this itchiness around my belly, my neck, my back.. I did went to GP to ask for some lotion to ease the itchiness while waiting to see my gynae appointment next few days. It didn't help much! I really don't know what to do now. I couldn't sleep! It triggers more when I'm sweating.. Help please!!

I had PUPPS From 35weeks and it was the most horrible feeling ever! I couldn’t sleep even with the yellow pills and steroid cream I was given by the doctor. I used calamine, pinetarsol and cool compressions but still didn’t work. There were scabs everywhere due to the constant scratching. And I usually fall asleep in the noon and wide awake at night due to the itchiness. But it immediately went away after I gave birth. So just endure mama! You’re almost there 😉

Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Had PUPP since mid 2nd trimester. Went to see skin specialist and my gynae was awared too. they cant really do much except giving u steriod cream which does helps to sooth the itchiness and subside a little but not complete. It will keep coming back till u have given birth and may continue for few mre weeks before going away completely. Hang on... U r almost there. Things wil be a lot better once u have given birth.

Noted on this! :)

I had PUPP for a few weeks. My gynae advised me to take the yellow flu pill to relieve the itch. I’m bad at swallowing pills so I applied calamine lotion and moisturiser instead. The itch went off on it’s own after a few days..

Yup, I went to GP they gave me the yellow flu pill as well. But it didn't help to ease the itchiness. Spreading at my neck so badly and now my back. Hoping my gynae could help me soon. I couldn't stand it anymore.

it will get better when you give birth. just try to cool the itchy areas
