When is the best time go tell your employer?

Hi mommies! Please share your experience about telling your employers (good or bad!) and when would be the best time to tell that you are expecting! I work for a gov-agency that’s got a lot of makcik bawangs (women who love to gossip) and in a department that’s always busy with heavy workload so I’m just afraid my colleagues won’t take it too well! Appreciate your opinion and experience ❤️

I tell after 12w first trimester. Company need to know early so that they can make arrangement for maternity leave. Also 12w considered bb is stable and less chances of miscarriage.

I tell my superior in the early trimester . Because I got severe morning sickness that prevent me from going outstation. For colleagues, it will be around 2nd trimester.
