Babies' skin usually self heals on its own but if you want to help decrease healing time, you might want to consider using cebo de macho. It worked for me as a child before and I tried using them on my babies. It works. But always remember, when you try this product, put a small amount first and observe if there will be unwanted reactions. If you want to sway away from too much chemicals for your child, why not use natural remedies? :) You can gently massage the scar/s with Vitamin E oil or Cocoa butter. You just need to apply any of these once or twice a day.

Sunflower oil, I think, can be a safe product for the child. I use it to treat my scars, not really the fastest way but it's natural so I bet it'll be safe for toddler's use.
