Gain Weight

Hi mommies! My gynae said I have not been gaining enough weight and my baby is currently on a smaller side 🥲 What food do you eat to gain more weight for yourself and your baby?

Hello! It's great that you're looking for ways to gain more weight for both yourself and your baby. Here are some nutritious food options that can help you with healthy weight gain during pregnancy: 1. Protein-rich foods like lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes, and tofu can help support your baby's growth and development. 2. Healthy fats from sources such as avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil can provide essential nutrients and extra calories to help you gain weight in a healthy way. 3. Whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat bread, quinoa, and oats are excellent sources of energy and can contribute to weight gain. 4. Fruits and vegetables are essential for a well-rounded diet, providing vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Consider adding calorie-dense fruits like bananas, mangos, and dried fruits to your meals. 5. Snack on nuts, nut butter, yogurt, cheese, and whole-grain crackers throughout the day to increase your calorie intake. 6. Consider speaking with a nutritionist or dietitian to create a personalized meal plan that meets your specific needs for weight gain during pregnancy. Remember, it's important to focus on nutrient-rich foods to ensure that you and your baby are getting the necessary nourishment. Listen to your body's hunger cues and eat when you're hungry. Take care and stay healthy! https://invl.io/cll6she
