I’ve brought up this matter to his PD before but he say it’s nothing serious since LO rashes will subside after shower. It’s probably heat rash or he’s sensitive to something. All the products he use are mostly hypoallergenic. But it’s still pretty concerning to me as he will keep scratching his neck when sleeping at night and wake up with neck rashes to the back. Have anyone experienced the same situation? Might this be an early sign of Eczema?

Heat rash or?

For my LO, heat rash will occur usually after shower cause we shower with warm water. If heat rash, can let baby go topless daytime or get those holey singlets, likewise for bottom area, can go diaperless to air dry the area after cleaning. At night can dress lightly instead of PJ and remove all the pillows/blankets (kids tend to perspire more easily). I can’t advise if it’s eczema cause we only encountered heat rash before.

Help on feeding - baby suddenly refusing to drink

My baby normally drink around 850 to 900ml but for the past 1 week she refused to drink and in the end only manage around 600ml ish. Not teething, no fever, not sure why.... quite stressed because scared the weight dropping, any mommy experiencing this? If yes, any tip on how to boost the appetite again?

My LO also like that recently. But its cos of teething and sleep regression. I just make sure she finishes her meal :)

Hello mommies. Any mommy still pumping now? Can I know if your breastmilk is sufficient for your baby? My baby is drinking more milk now and my supply can no longer keep up with baby’s demand. Is this normal? #firsttimemom

Stage 1 and 2 Dulac

Hi Mummies, i am in dilemma on changing my 6mo baby's formula from stage 1 to stage 2. Some people say that stage 2 have less nutrients but i tried to google and it says stage 2 has extra nutrients in it. Should i change my baby's milk or should just stay stage 1 up til she's 12mo?

My baby doesnt like milk stage 2 😫

My baby doesn't seems to like solid food

Have tried giving her puree, avocado, banana, porridge..she doesn't likes all except for the teething biscuits.. but she does show that she wants to eat when the adults are snacking..we will take her fav biscuits for her and she will keep quiet.. What should I try next? Or should I wait she is older and try again?

Since she’s on teething rusk, can try giving steamed broccoli/carrots in strips. Then slowly can even introduce her big drumsticks when she’s slightly older (assuming she’s 6 months now?). In the meantime, can just offer different varieties to find a hit, its normal for them to take up as many times (like 15) to accept a food at this stage. My LO was like this, rejected or only willing to take a small bite all the way till she entered school (2.5yo).

Recommended activities and toys for 6 months old baby

Hi mummies, recently my LO has been quite fussy during playtime. She seems bored easily. Do you have any engaging recommendation to engage her (toys or any activities) that might help? Thank you.

I bought toys that can train my 6 months old baby’s motor skills, stacking cups, activity centre (not baby walker), flash cards and story books to read almost every day. You can on songs on YouTube and sing to your baby as well, but I do not give screen time.

6 months baby - still not able to sit independently

Hi mummies, is this normal? Any tips on how to help our LO to sit unassistedly? Perhaps some exercises or routines or toys that will help? Thank you.

My 6 months old baby is still unable to sit independently as well but I do let my baby practice by sitting down on the bed or play mat when I have time. I slowly drag longer the practice time each time — for example, my baby tried sitting for 2 minutes in the morning. The next practice will be 3 minutes, then 4 minutes etc. The number of practices and time interval is up to you to decide and at your and baby’s comfort level. This is what my friend’s baby does in infant care as well. You can put your baby’s favourite things in front to encourage him/her to sit longer.

Drinking Milk Question

Hello mommies, may I know how much milk is your baby drinking now? It doesn’t matter if it’s breastmilk or formula milk.

My baby drinks between 840-900ml every 24 hours (5 x 150ml + 90ml/150ml) 6 months 3 days, 50-75 percentile for height and weight

Solid soon - any tips?

Hi. First time mom here. Bb starting solid soon. Any recco? E.g. fruits or vegs first and why? Also how many times should bb eat solid in a day? Is it replacing one of the milk intake?

I read that you should introduce vege first cos its not sweet like fruits. And starting, once a day, about 4 tablespoons(?) and no, it does not replace one milk intake. Milk should still be the main source of food till 1 years old. I may or may not be wrong! But do your research :-)
