SSS maternity benefit late filing

Hello mga momsh. Tanong ko lng po if kailangan ko pa po bang ipa change yung status ko from Employee to Voluntary para maka avail ng MatBen? I was working from aug. 2018 - march 2019 and hindi na po ako nakapag work after that. We knew I was pregnant on June 2019 then I gave birth on January 2020. Nag apply na po ako online and I wanted to be enlightened while waiting for the email ng SSS if approved po yung application ko. Hehe
