SSS Maternity Benefits!

Hello mga Momsh! This September na po yung EDD ko. Nagtanong po ako sa HR namin about sa update sa mat ben ko. Tinanong daw nila yung SSS naka depende po sa employer kung mag re release daw sila ng mat ben ko dahil daw sa pandemic. Tas wait ko lang daw yung reply ng may Boss namin if papayag daw. Sino po same case d2 mga mamsh? Sayang namn kasi yung benefits 😔

same ang ininform sakin ni HR, hindi daw aware si employer sa bagong batas; pero magiinform nako ng leave then mag email ako CC ang concerned government agencies; kasi sa batas dapat i-release nila Manner of Payment and Taxability Full payment of maternity leave benefits to qualified female workers shall be advanced by the employer. The SSS shall immediately reimburse the employer of the applicable SSS maternity benefits. Any difference between the worker’s actual salary and the applicable SSS maternity benefits shall be borne by the employer.

Dapat company ang mag abono ng Mat ben. Kesho pandemic or whatever.
