1 - 6 months: exclusively breastfed 6 - 12 months: Complimentary Feeding, kaya breastfeed muna bago solids. Intro to solids pa lng, and the idea is masanay si baby sa different food flavors and textures. Start with soft fruits and boiled veggies (mashed with fork). Never kami ng puree kasi need din ni baby matuto ngumuya. Eventually, oats with fruits, or veggies with rice. STRICTLY NO SALT OR SUGAR or any condiments. Start kami bfast and lunch lang, eventually dinner na rin. Palipas ng 2-3 days bago mag-introduce ng new food para madali matrace in case of allergic reactions. 1 yo onwards: Supplementary feeding (extended bf), so solids muna bago dede. 3 meals a day, 2 snacks in between, always with veggies and/ or fruits. We tried to delay eggs and meats as much as we could, until ayaw nang magpaawat ni lo 😅 kung ano ulam namin, "toned down" version yung kay lo. So for ex: sinigang/ tinola, etc, ipagtatabi ng portion si lo bago timplahan ng salt, etc. so yung kanya ay matabang na version ng food namin. Just avoid salt and sugar, no need to deprive them of spices (garlic, onions, etc) dahil dapat masanay sila sa iba't-ibang flavors ☺️ by 2 yo: Kung ano food namin, iyon din ang kay lo. We just make sure na hindi masyado maalat ang food namin in general. We let him eat junk foods and sweets but these are exceptions (during parties, etc only) and not the norm, and we make sure malakas sya magtubig after. I highly recommend that you get your lo a high chair, malaking tulong for BLW ☺️
Pag si baby 6months old na pero di pa niya na meet signs of readiness like: Di pa nakakaupo mag isa Wala pa chewing motions Meron pa tongue thrust reflex Wala pa pincher grasp This means na hindi pa po sila dapat bigyan ng kahit anong solids. Milk lang muna hanggang may mga signs na sa nakasulat sa taas... at kung meron ng mga signs na ready na si baby.. isipin mo mi kung ano ang way of eating ang ipapakain mo kay baby... lagi din tandaan: No Salt No Sugar No Honey below 1year old.. Tradional or Baby Lead Weaning (BLW). Sa baby ko practice niya ay BLW bibigyan ko siya ng malalaking cuts ng steamed food na kaya lang niya igrasp.. sa una 90% tapon at pinaglalaruan lang talaga.. pero hindi ako nagwoworry kasi below 1year old ang number1 source of nutrition pa rin ay Milk.. sa una once a day lang ako nagbigay ng solids hanggang sa masanay na mga 8mos 2x na solid meals .. 1year old 3x / day .. ngayon 1year old above 3x/ day + snacks mommy mas ok kung sariling gawang food kaysa sa mga Gerber/cerelac / any instant baby food.. considered po yun as Junkfoods

Hello. Ginawa ko sa baby ko dati , 6m breakfast only. 7m breakfast and lunch. 8m 3meals. 9m 3 meals and snack. 10m 3 meals 2 snacks. 6m - 7m: 2 weeks cerelac. Then veggie purée. Boiled Egg yolk and potato purée. Tapos cut soft fruits like banana. Elongated yung pag hati ko. 8m: ayaw niya na ng purée kaya nag start na ako mag solid. Deretso agad since BLW kami rice, viand, veggies and fruits. Ngayon 2y6m na siya. More on protein as advice by her Pedia para magkalaman siya, then fruits kasi mahilig talaga siya sa fruits, rice and bread pag trip niya lang.
Banana, since yun yung meron lagi sa bahay.
hello mamsh 6m- 1x a day lang bfast usually (1 variant ng food langbfor 3days para icheck kung allergic) papakainin 1hr after ng morning dede nya saka mo increase to 2x a day kapag 7months na.. basta every time na magintroduce ka ng new food, try mo yun ng 3days same food para sa testing ng allergy. yan kasi advice ng pedia..
