Hi mommy!

I know this is a bit scary, but you’re doing the right thing by keeping your doctor informed. Kidney stones are definitely something to be cautious of, but many women experience them during pregnancy and with proper care, they can be managed. Make sure you're staying as hydrated as possible, and follow your doctor’s advice. If needed, they may suggest some treatments or additional checks. You’re in good hands with your OB, so try not to worry too much. You and baby are both being well looked after!

Pregnancy can sometimes cause mild changes in kidney function, and your doctor’s recommendation to keep drinking water is spot on. If kidney stones are a concern, your doctor might want to do further tests to confirm that. Many times, kidney stones can be managed with hydration and sometimes a specific diet. It’s good that your OB is aware and monitoring things closely — just keep following their advice and don’t hesitate to ask questions during your next visit.

It's normal for pregnancy to cause changes in your urine, and factors like dehydration or the added pressure from the baby can sometimes affect the results. Kidney stones are a possibility, but the good news is that your doctor is monitoring things closely and will advise you on how to manage it. Staying hydrated is important, and if kidney stones are suspected, your doctor may suggest further tests or treatments to help ease any discomfort.

Mommy, best to seek help from a urology with your OB's recommendations din in mind.
