hmm.. I'm not sure if chocolate is regarded as a milk booster. Some of my friends actually avoid eating chocolate. Because, apart from caffeine, chocolate also contains a substance called theobromine. It is a stimulant that has a similar effect to caffeine and is linked to causing gas problems in babies. White chocolate contains lower amount of theobromine and may have fewer side effects on your baby. So, some of my friends who opt for that or milk chocolate if they have some cravings. (For more information: http://www.newhealthadvisor.com/chocolate-and-breastfeeding.html) As for milk booster, you can give chocolate chip lactation cookies or milo a try if you are keen on something chocolatey. Hope this helps!

Some say chocolate is not advisable for breastfeeding moms. When I browsed through google, I came across this chocolate, it is called MOM'S Breastfeeding Chocolate Milk Booster, but I don't think we have this in the Philippines. Not too sure about actual chocolate bars, but a chocolate oats milkshake is popular amongst my friends and it does the trick. It's basically chocolate milk, oats, some peanut butter and a scoop of vanilla ice cream -- blend well. Not something you should drink everyday though, maybe a Sunday brunch treat.

Milo is quite chocolate-ish and a tried-and-tested milk booster for many. Maybe that's a better alternative compared to chocolates? You can also ty Alpro's organic Hazelnut Milk. It 100% hazelnuts and water blended together but it tastes like a milder version of nutella. Amazing stuff!
