Facts about Manas in Pregnancy

MANAS in Pregnancy.....delikado nga ba? Pagpasensyahan nyo na ang TAGLISH ko. Manas is COMMON in pregnant. Most of the time, hindi naman sya delikado unless may kasama sya mataas na BP, pwede syang sign ng Pre-eclampsia ( Hypertension in Pregnancy), hindi pantay na manas between the 2 legs at masakit, headache with vision changes and difficulty of breathing. IF manas lang at wala naman ang mga na banggit ko, ang manas ay hindi naman delikado...🙂 Napapansin to around your 5th Month hanggang buong 3rd trimester Common causes of MANAS 1. Mainit na panahon 2. Lumalaki na bahay bata 3. Standing for long period of time 4. Low potassium 5. Too much caffeine consumption 6. Too much sodium in the diet. How to manage your swelling? 1. Avoid standing for long period of time 2. Rest with your feet elevated 3. Minimize outdoor time when it is hot 4. Wear comfortable shoes, avoid high heels if possible 5. Wear supportive stockings or tights 6. Avoid clothes that are tight around wrists and ankles 7. Rest or swim in a pool 8. Don't cross your legs 9. Lie on your left side when sleeping and elevate your legs 10. Eat banana and avoid too much caffeine 11..
