May mairerecommend po ba kayong inumin pag may ubo at sipon ang isang buntis? I'm 8 weeks pregnant po.

hello po. my ob prescribed me with Acetylcysteine 600mg once a day. pwede ito over the counter. actually, ito na talaga iniinom ko when i was not pregnant. but to be safe, i asked my OB pa rin.

As a precautionary measure, it is preferable to avoid use of Acetylcysteine (Fluimucil) during pregnancy. Prior to use in pregnancy, the potential risks should be weighed against the potential benefits. Lactation: There is no available information on the excretion in breast milk. A risk to the child cannot be excluded.
