Looking at Boracay for Xmas, can anyone recommend where to stay? So many choices and which beach is best to be near?

Hello there, me and a friend went to Boracay in 2012 and stayed at Niu Ohana East Bay Apartments which is pretty much an apartment-esque hotel with a kitchenette, a spacious bedroom and a living/dining room, which is perfect for a family with a young child in case you need to heat up food or milk at night. It is located right on Balobag beach and you can walk to nearby attractions and other beach stations. We paid about 60SGD per night and have absolutely no complaints about the place. Station 1 beach is admittedly more lively but we walked to the different beaches with ease. So Balobag beach is all good. Highly recommended!

I've heard good things about shangrila boracay however it's not on the main beach. I always stay in two seasons and Discovery shores. It's in the "quieter" part of the beach.
