question

my lo just turned 1 month old. it’s my MIL & SIL birthday celebration tomorrow and they would like us to go over to MIL place with baby. The thing is, I’m not close with them but I’m ok with going, SIL told my hubby that it’s ok if I don’t wanna go, just bring baby over and put there they take care because they claim to have experience since they helped babysit their niece(1yo) before many times. What are your thoughts? I personally am not comfortable with leaving my baby in the care of someone else at all ESPECIALLY if I am not there even though hub will be. They also do things the more traditional way, eg, need to give baby water, suntan baby so skin will be nice, cannot feed full bm, if breastfeed must eat lots of ginger, etc. My baby is only 1month old, give what water??
