should i feed gripe water to ny 1 nth old LO?

My LO has poop once every 2 to 3 days and is always trying to fart and it affects her sleep. should i give gripe water? Why and why not?

I tried gripe water before but didn't do anything for my girl. I found doing tummy massages and leg cycles much more effective.
