Hi all, my LO is due for vaccine on this coming tues..is it alright to proceed if he's having slight cough n phlegm?? Will the nurse reject him?

If LO doesn't have any viral fever/flu, usually nurses are okay to proceed - the reason why some reject is because their immune system is compromised when there's a virus attacking them, so they would find it harder to work with vaccines.

i would advise to wait they fully recover to go, else if there is a post vaccination fever, you would not be able to know if it's the vaccination that is causing the fever OR the flu is giving him a fever

let the nurse know, she might assign a doc for consultation and get clearance before she proceed.

Hi mummy its advisable to wait till ur lo recovers fully. Its ok to delay the vaccination.

Best to call the clinic to check in case of a wasted trip.
