Feeding LO solid

My LO is 7mths old now, started cereal once a day since 6 mths old. Basically he has his cereal in IFC during weekdays day time and I will do the same during weekend. But I realized that is quite hard to feed him as he seems doesn’t like the cereals but he is ok in school. Teacher give him mixed veg cereal and I give him plain cereal with milk. I tried to give him apple, banana and carrot too but he didn’t show any interest too. And shld i start to give him solid during dinner time also?
