1st to 2nd degree burns

LO - 12 mths was accidently scalded with hot water on the arm,😭 just wondering what i can do to speed up the recovery and heal it well? I had already seen a doctor and currently bandaged. LO also experiencing high fever for 2 days after the burn..is it common to have fever? How long does it take to recover, for those had experienced similiar accident. 😔
