Yes. You need to pay 1 month school fees and 1 month deposit. The amount varies i think. Have you applied for the grants as well? There are different type of grants available. In fact schooling in Singapore is affordable and the government has many aided supports as per different groups of income holders. At my child's child care, the 1 month deposit is returned only when you give sufficient notice (2 months in our case) if and when we withdraw her from the center. (not necessarily 6 yo...)
