Is it okay to leave a sleeping baby at home while you run out for a quick errand nearby?

No way! It's too unpredictable. An infant can toss over and get suffocated especially when u least know it. Even if it is a toddler, still dangerous to have them exploring around if they suddenly wake up. Better err on the side of caution!

it is definitely not okay to leave bubz alone at home to go out. there are many reports on accidents happening when they are left alone. it would be good if you could get someone else to run that errand for you, or babywear your bubz out. (:

No please.. I never did this and never would!!! Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. If the accident wont happen at home as you leave your child, it may happen outside as you do your errand. And yes, better safe than sorry!

Definitely, it is a NO! You'll never know what can happen even in a blink of an eye. When making decisions like this, we always have to think of the baby's welfare. Better not compromise the safety of your child.

You should never leave a child alone at home. Even my daugther is 6 years old now I never leave her alone at home even though I only need to go out for 30minutes. We will never know what will happen if they are alone at home.

It is never okay to leave baby alone at home unsupervised, whether they are sleeping or active. Try baby wearing and you can bring baby along wherever you go. Things can happen in an instant and you will regret all your life

Please don't do that - what errand can be so important to take such a risk. Either wait for baby to wake up or move sleeping baby in a carrier or call a Neighbour go help watch for a short while so u can run the errand

I won't do it too. Coz I only left my sleeping baby in the middle of the bed while I went to place my expressed milk in the fridge, my 9MO then was at the edge of the bed when I returned! That was less than a minute.
